My key task for today is to collect a list of 'core apocalyptic forms'. What are
these, what are they for? I intend to argue that there are better and worse ways
of using apocalyptic forms in green rhetoric. It follows that I need to identify
apocalyptic forms, I need to persuade my reader that HERE is an example of an
apocalyptic form. I may also want to talk about the rhetoric of John of Patmos
or other ancient apocalyptic authors, so my 'core apocalyptic forms' should
ideally cover ancient apocalypses as well as modern ones.

In short, my 'core apocalyptic forms' should:

- Identify literary features of good green rhetoric
- Identify literary features of bad green rhetoric
- Identify literary features of ancient apocalypse
- Identify literary features of modern apocalypse

I had a long think about the argument I want to make in my dissertation. I came
