If the user can get a receipt, they get a receipt and put it in their wallet. 2. If the user can't get a receipt, they make a note on a piece of paper and put it in their wallet. 3. Wait until the user next regularly opens Schist on their desktop computer. 4. The user takes all receipts and paper notes from their wallet. 5. The user enters all the transactions recorded there into Schist. ### Extensions #### The user gets the date wrong If the user gets the date wrong, tough luck. It's good enough. #### The user doesn't write down the date and forgets it The user will have to enter a date in order to enter a transaction into Schist. If it's not exactly accurate, that's not the end of the world. #### The user doesn't write down the payee or gets it wrong If the user omits the payee or gets it wrong, tough luck. It's good enough. #### The user gets the amount wrong If the user gets the amount wrong, then they'll have to enter a reconciliation transaction next time they reconcile their cash account. #### The user loses the receipt or note If the user loses the receipt or note, then the missing amount will end up in a reconciliation transaction the next time they reconcile their cash account. #### The user forgets to take a receipt or note If the user forgets to take a receipt or note, then the missing amount will end up in a reconciliation transaction the next time they reconcile their cash account.
